Privacy

What stays in this browser, and what does not exist yet.

This notice describes the current VEIL portfolio demonstration only. It explains the browser-only Consultation experience without borrowing the language of a real operating business.

There is no invented company, data controller, office address, support mailbox, or recipient behind this demo.

01

Purpose of this page

This page explains what happens when someone explores Consultation Studio in the current portfolio. It is a privacy notice for a demonstration, not a complete policy for a future tattoo business.

02

Portfolio demonstration

VEIL currently presents an atelier concept, four artist profiles, selected work, planning tools, and a browser-only consultation flow. It does not operate a lead-generation, booking, payment, or client-management service.

The artist, portfolio-work, and atelier images depict fictional people, fictional tattoo work, and fictional environments generated for this demonstration. They are not evidence of real clients, artists, completed tattoos, or an operating venue.

03

Data entered in Consultation Studio

The working brief may contain selected answers about the project’s purpose, how its story should be shared, body placement, style, session preference, artist choice, and timing preferences. If you create a final copy, it may also contain your first name, email address, and an optional phone number.

Contact details are added only to that final saved copy. Neither the consultation content nor the contact details are ever placed in the page address.

04

Storage in the current browser tab

The working brief, body-placement plan, and optional final copy are stored only in the current browser tab. The browser feature used for this is called sessionStorage, and the saved data is checked before it can be displayed.

Refreshing the same tab may retain the brief. This storage normally ends with the browser session, and the portfolio also provides clear ways to remove it.

05

No transmission or backend

Creating the brief makes no network request. There is no consultation API, submissions database, email delivery, external form service, or real inbox. VEIL does not receive the data.

Creating a brief therefore does not create an enquiry, account, booking, artist assignment, or response obligation.

06

Local brief and confirmation

The Confirmation page checks the saved copy only after the interactive part of the site has started. It shows contact details only when the reference in the page address matches. The pre-rendered static HTML contains a neutral message and no personal information.

The VL-DEMO reference identifies only the copy saved in this tab. Copy brief summary deliberately excludes email, phone, and the full written story, and copying does not send the text anywhere automatically.

07

How to remove data

Use Start over inside Consultation Studio to clear the working brief, placement plan, and final copy while retaining the ordinary context with which you entered the studio. Use Start a new consultation on Confirmation to remove the entire Consultation context.

Closing the browser session also clears the tab’s sessionStorage according to browser behaviour. This demonstration has no remote copy to request or delete.

08

Cookies and analytics

The portfolio does not use analytics or tracking cookies. Language preference is a separate interface preference stored locally and in a same-site cookie; it does not contain or transmit Consultation answers.

09

Sensitive information

Do not enter medical records, diagnosis details, identity-document numbers, financial information, passwords, or other especially sensitive data. The Story step includes a private-conversation mode so a written account does not need to be stored in the demo.

10

Future production version

A future version that sends enquiries would require a separate reviewed implementation and separate legal information. It would need verified controller identity and contact details, a lawful basis, purpose limits, retention and deletion rules, security measures, recipients, user rights, and the actual service providers involved.

None of those future obligations is satisfied by this demonstration notice, and no production workflow should be inferred from it.

11

Changes to this demonstration notice

This notice should change whenever the demonstrated behaviour changes. If networking, a backend, analytics, a real contact channel, or a verified business identity is introduced, the copy must be reviewed before that version is presented as operational.
